The GMWE Distillery, located in Granada, is known for its exceptional rums. This 1996 vintage, produced from molasses in a column, commemorates Granada's 50 years of independence, celebrated in February 2024. This rare rum was distilled in December 1996 and matured for 27 years in American white oak barrels, bearing the number 358. Its long ageing gives it a unique complexity and depth, testifying to the know-how and excellence of the distillery.
