Colours of Rum Uitvlugt Vintage 1991 30 years Edition N°7

Uitvlugt (pronounced "eye-flut") is a village in Guyana, based on the west bank of the Demerara River. The Dutch distillery Uitvlugt was established around 1750, housing double wooden stills that produced a typically heavy rum. In 1975, the government began consolidating rum production, which unfortunately led to the closure of Uitvlugt in 1999.

This is a 30-year-old continental Demerara rum . Distilled in 1991, in Double Wooden Pot Still, and bottled in 2022 at 68.7% ABV. Aged in ex-bourbon barrels for 10 years and ex-French oak barrels for an additional 19 years. The barrel produced 277 bottles.

The 'The Colours of Rum' range is an ode to iconic distilleries like Caroni, Hampden and Foursquare. With no additives or sweeteners, it is a pure invitation to tasting for the most demanding amateurs and connoisseurs.
