Presentation of this whisky

This Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from a secret distillery in the Highlands, an iconic Scotch whisky region. Distilled in January 2000, this lightly peated spirit was first aged in bourbon casks, before undergoing a second maturation in a second-fill Oloroso sherry cask. This double maturation, combined with more than 25 years of rest, has allowed the development of a unique aromatic profile. Bottled at 54.2% cask strength, it is presented in a 500 ml format, in a strictly limited edition of 353 bottles.

Tasting notes

The mahogany dress announces the richness of the profile. The nose mixes notes of burnt rubber, smoked caramel and vanilla and coconut milky dessert. On the palate, peat is combined with gourmet notes of waffles, Turkish delight, cooked apples and spiced chocolate. The long and elegant finish evokes patinated leather, salty porridge and chocolate fondue. A captivating, wild and refined whisky.
