Founded in 1753, the Long Pond distillery, located in Trelawny parish in Jamaica, is a true rum institution. This iconic place, once the producer of the famous Captain Morgan, is now known for its exceptional spirits, made from John Dore stills and Blair columns. The Duncan Taylor Long Pond Distillerie 13 Year Old 2000 is a limited edition distilled in June 2000 and aged for 16 years in carefully selected casks before bottling in February 2017. This unique cuvée, produced in only 241 copies, captures the richness and elegance of Long Pond rums. With a history marked by challenges, including a closure from 2012 to 2017 and a fire in 2018, Long Pond production has become even more valuable. This rum, both complex and refined, is a true tribute to Jamaican know-how and the art of aging.
