From the Monymusk distillery, Duncan Taylor - Monymusk 12 Year Old Vintage 2003 (cask 2) reflects the know-how of traditional Jamaican rums. Placed in casks in 2003 and aged for 12 years, this rum was bottled without adding or filtering, retaining all its authenticity and aromatic richness. This limited edition of 194 bottles is a real nugget for enthusiasts and collectors.

A complex and captivating flavour profile

On the nose, this dense and exuberant rum oscillates between cooked banana and very ripe and fermented exotic fruits. Hints of sweet almond and candied fruit bring a pastry facet, while medicinal, resinous and copper notes offer a fascinating depth. Black fruits and aromas reminiscent of pear and apple add a balanced freshness.

A greedy palate and a long finish

On the palate, the attack is full and exotic, with rich and gourmet cooked fruit. The black fruits, blackened by their ripeness, bring a surprising freshness. Smoky and metallic notes prolong the tasting, with a finish marked by banana and a pear brandy with exotic accents.
