This Plantation Single Cask rum, distilled at Clarendon (mark MMW) is a limited edition Haute Couture rum. After a first aging in Bourbon barrels in Jamaica for 17 years, the rum joined the Château de Bonbonnet in France, for a new aging in cognac barrels for 2 years before finishing for 1 year in whisky barrels Arran.

This is this unique barrel, a real favorite for the team of enthusiasts that we are within Excellence Rhum. We tasted it and selected it by us in the cellars of the Château de Bonbonnet. Thus, each Plantation Single Cask has a unique aging, and each bottle is numbered. Only a few barrels of these rums are bottled each year, making these expressions real collector's items. Limited edition of 144 bottles including 36 bottles numbered for Excellence Rhum. The MMW mark corresponds to a rate of congeners (esters) of 200 to 300 gr/hlaap (hectolitre of pure alcohol)

The house of Cognac, Cognac Ferrand is at the origin of this fascinating brand that is Plantation Rum. Maison Ferrand originally maintained privileged relationships with the best distilleries in the Caribbean to which it sells barrels that have contained its Cognac. The barrels of the Ferrand house are very popular with some rum producers who use them to refine their product. During these exchanges, Alexandre Gabriel had the opportunity to discover very old batches with an aromatic richness and a diversity of extraordinary aromas.
