Our tasting notes for La Tour de l'Or Rum Extra Old Brut de barrel

Nose : après la fougue de l’alcool au premier nez, on a des arômes de bananes, de fruits exotiques (fruits de la passion, mangue), beaucoup de fraîcheur (écorce d’orange confite, gingembre), gousse de vanille, un nez très complexe et très riche.

Palate : Impression tactile d’onctuosité, de volupté. Confirmation des arômes de fraîcheur des fruits exotiques mais on distingue des notes de caramel au beurre salé comme influencé par la mer toute proche. Des notes rares de cire d’abeille et de miel.

Finish : Un rhum d’une exceptionnelle finesse, aérien. Magnifique persistance !
