The basic product comes first from distillation, so it is a pure and neutral product and there, only the quality of the water that soaks the cane before distillation, the equipment of the distillery, the hygiene and the know-how of the distiller are taken into account. The impact of climate affects sugar cane only on the volumes produced. It is a "continuous distillation", in column also called Armagnaçaise, that is to say that there can be no separation of heads and tails, nor heart of heating, term abusively used because it does not correspond in any way to the distillation of rum.

This beautiful rum comes from a southern terroir. Sugar cane benefits here from sea winds and the most intense sunshine on the island. "The "extra-old" rum is the end of the end. He has the nobility of the great eaux-de-vie, his cousins. It is the equal of cognac and Armagnac as well as great whiskies. It remains too often unknown to the general public." Nose : d’une inépuisable complexité : fèves de cacao, miel, zeste d’oranges, fruits exotiques, épices douces, une pointe de sel et d’iode.

Palate : sensuelle et douce, où l’on retrouve la confirmation des arômes d’oranges, de fleurs, d’épices (gingembre, vanille), de bois de cèdre.

Finish : Une texture soyeuse et une exceptionnelle longueur en bouche.
