When rum meets whisky

The Rum Runner Aged in wood for 18 months is a Martinican agricultural rum that has been aged for a year and a half in barrels that have contained whisky. This atypical maturation gives cane rum an extra dimension: the characteristic vegetal and fruity notes of agricultural rum blend with the malty, cereal and slightly peaty influences inherited from the barrel.

Breeding that transcends borders

On the nose, we perceive fresh cane and tropical fruits, enriched with nuances of roasted barley and sweet spices. The palate offers a beautiful balance between the woody roundness of the cask and the herbaceous liveliness of the agricultural rum. The finish reveals hints of vanilla, honey and a light smoke. The "aged in wood" category guarantees a minimum of 12 months of ageing in oak barrels, here pushed to 18 months for more complexity.
