Controlled ageing

Distilled in 2013 by the Grays distillery, one of the oldest in Mauritius, this rum first rested in French oak barrels, developing a woody and fruity structure. Its refinement in barrels that have contained a peated whisky of Rozelieures gives it an extra dimension, where minerality and smoky character are mixed.

A unique aromatic profile

On the nose, notes of tobacco, ripe peach and oak blend into a mineral framework. On the palate, subtle peat combines with woody aromas for a singular tasting, where the influence of Rozelieures whisky is discreet but distinctive.
