Founded in 1845 by Charles and Louis Isautier on Reunion Island, the Isautier distillery is one of the oldest in the Indian Ocean. After several generations and modernizations, notably in 1910 with the addition of a distillation column, Isautier has been able to evolve while preserving its roots. In 2011, a new step was taken with a move to an ultra-modern distillery, where it continues to produce molasses and agricultural rums. The Velier Single Cask 2005 marks a unique collaboration with the famous Italian bottler Velier. This rum, bottled in Velier's iconic black bottle, is limited to only 502 pieces, making it a real treasure for collectors. Aged for 16 years, this single cask reveals aromas of great complexity, combining the art of Isautier distillation and Velier's know-how, creating an unforgettable tasting experience rich in character.
