A tribute to the year 1824

Created in reference to the founding of the Angostura house by Dr. Johann G. B. Siegert, Founders Reserve 1824 expresses the heritage and mastery of an emblematic distillery of traditional English rums. This artisanal blend brings together old rums aged in flambéed oak barrels, bringing structure and depth to the whole. Ageing in Bourbon barrels contributes to the balance and aromatic complexity of this spirit.

A generous and structured aromatic profile

The nose reveals notes of banana, dried fruit, caramel and toasted vanilla. On the palate, balance is essential with nuances of spices, burnt sugar, raisins and vanilla. Ample and harmonious, this rum lends itself to tasting neat or on ice, and elegantly accompanies a cigar during privileged moments.
