A collector's bottling signed Duncan Taylor

Founded in Glasgow in 1938, Duncan Taylor is an independent bottler known for its rigorous selection of rare casks. This rum comes from Trinidad Distillers Limited (T.D.L), one of the largest distilleries in the Caribbean, distilled in column in December 1991 and then housed in the single cask n° 2466. With no added colouring or cold filtration, it was bottled in February 2017 at its natural strength of 52.1% vol.

Twenty-five years of maturation in oak barrels

After a quarter of a century of ageing, this single cask offers a luminous golden colour. The nose is powerful, with notes of wood, pepper and eucalyptus. On the palate, the warmth of the natural degree carries aromas of toasted oak, dried fruit and spices. The finish, dry and peppery, recalls the power of the barrel. Limited to 296 pieces, this vintage is aimed at collectors and lovers of rums for laying down with an assertive character.

Duncan Taylor

Duncan Taylor is an independent bottler, i.e. it does not distill but carefully selects its distillates from distilleries, and bottles the rum without adding dyes, and without cold filtration.
