Campari Bitter Cask Tales Tequila Barrels
A tribute to the heritage Campari
Created in 1860 by Gaspare Campari, this legendary bitter has become a symbol of the art of the Italian aperitif. With the Cask Tales collection, the Italian house explores the influence of barrels that have contained different spirits, while respecting the original recipe.
Curing in Espolòn Tequila barrels
This bitter is matured in American No.2 oak barrels that previously hosted the Espolòn Tequila. This specific maturation brings a slightly acidic and spicy touch, balanced by herbaceous nuances and a dry, bitter and elegant finish.
Flavour profile
Its powerful nose reveals a marked herbaceous richness. On the palate, there are peppery and citrus notes that blend harmoniously with the characteristic bitterness of Campari. The finish, faithful to the identity of the bitters, is clean and persistent.
Campari
Gaspare Campari created the Campari recipe in 1860 in Novara in Piedmont, northern Italy.
