The Stade's House

Since 1893, Stade's has been perpetuating the legacy of Georges Stade, a pioneer of Barbadian rum. More than 130 years of history, innovation and tradition can be found in his creations. With The Distiller's Vault Collection, the brand unveils limited editions resulting from rare processes and historic stills still in operation, true witnesses of a unique heritage.

Vulcan Two Taps

This exceptional cuvée owes its name to the Vulcan, a three-chambered still dating from the nineteenth century, the last original example still in operation. Returned to service in 2018 thanks to the know-how of Henderson "Digger" Skinner, a veteran of the distillery, it retains a singular tradition: when it stalls, two strokes of the metal bar are enough to restart it. From this technique inherited from the ancients is born a rum with a rare identity, where authenticity and living memory of Barbados are expressed with intensity. A true testimony to the history of rum, Vulcan Two Taps is aimed at wine lovers in search of extraordinary spirits.

Stade's Rum

On the west coast of Barbados, turquoise waves caress the soft sands of Brighton Beach. George Stade, an inspired distiller and inventor with many patents to his credit, chose this tranquil spot to build the W.I.R.D (West Indies Rum Distillery) in 1893. His dream was to apply his technical genius to the creation of the West Indies rum distillery. best rum, on the island where rum was born. The "Rum of the Stadium" quickly became renowned for its excellence and the name synonymous with the finest Barbadian rums. Today, our tribute to George Stade is made in the same distillery by the sea and softened by the sea in our warehouse "link N°8" just steps away from the gentle waves.
