The Stade's House

Founded in 1893 by Georges Stade, Stade's distillery marked the history of Barbadian rum long before local distilleries developed their own bottlings. Synonymous with authenticity and know-how, the brand is now reborn with The Distiller's Vault Collection, a range dedicated to enthusiasts in search of unique creations resulting from ancestral techniques and historic stills still in operation.

Old Gregg Fusion

The inaugural edition of this collection, Old Gregg Fusion illustrates the art of blending by bringing together a cane juice rum, from the Harper sugar mill, and a molasses rum from Port Vale, the last working sugar factory on the island. The two distillates went through the Old Gregg pot still , dating from the early twentieth century, before being aged and blended in Barbados. This marriage reveals a subtle palette where the herbaceous vivacity of cane rum intertwines with the deep richness of molasses, offering a vibrant and refined sensory experience.

Stade's Rum

On the west coast of Barbados, turquoise waves caress the soft sands of Brighton Beach. George Stade, an inspired distiller and inventor with many patents to his credit, chose this tranquil spot to build the W.I.R.D (West Indies Rum Distillery) in 1893. His dream was to apply his technical genius to the creation of the West Indies rum distillery. best rum, on the island where rum was born. The "Rum of the Stadium" quickly became renowned for its excellence and the name synonymous with the finest Barbadian rums. Today, our tribute to George Stade is made in the same distillery by the sea and softened by the sea in our warehouse "link N°8" just steps away from the gentle waves.
