A history of know-how and terroir

The Ferroni Barbados Vintage 2007 Brut de Fût was born under the Caribbean sun, distilled by the prestigious Foursquare house. Aged for several years in the tropics, it then crossed the Atlantic to Provence, where it benefited from an additional six months in barrels of Vin Doux Naturel de Rasteau. This unique process gives the rum rich aromas and exceptional structure.

A memorable tasting

The nose requires light aeration to reveal notes of toasted coconut, dark caramel, and heady flowers. A hint of citrus and roasted fruit sublimates this set. On the palate, the balance is perfect: aromas of chocolate, pineapple and vanilla mingle with vegetal notes for a complex and gourmet experience. The long and persistent finish oscillates between wood, coconut and a surprising salty chocolate.
