The Ferroni - Barbados Vintage 2006 Brut de Fût is an exceptional rum from the Foursquare distillery, renowned for its "single blended rums" combining pot still and column distillation. Selected by Guillaume Ferroni, it has been aged twice: first in Bourbon barrels in a tropical climate, then in France, at Château des Creissauds, where it was refined in a 1978 vintage Cognac barrel. Double ageing for a unique profile

This 2006 vintage draws its richness from its passage in Bourbon barrels, which gives it woody and vanilla aromas. The refining in ex-Cognac barrels sublimates its structure with fruity and spicy nuances, bringing depth and refinement.

A powerful and balanced rum

This cask strength seduces with its aromatic concentration. Its complex nose reveals notes of ripe fruit, spices and toasted wood. On the palate, the roundness of tropical ageing blends harmoniously with the finesse brought by the ageing in Cognac. The long and expressive finish leaves a woody and delicately spicy imprint, the signature of a rum with character.
