Refining inspired by Islay whisky

An original creation of Guillaume Ferroni, this rum takes its name from its aromatic intensity and bewitching smoky notes. After an initial ageing of 18 months, it rests for 12 months in Islay peated whisky casks, absorbing deep aromas of peat and spices. This atypical maturation gives it a profile marked by the power of fire and the elegance of rum.

An intense and gourmet aromatic profile

The nose reveals a powerful smoke, evoking a fire of Scottish peat, before revealing ripe fruits such as pear, mango and melon. Aeration softens the whole, revealing notes of vanilla and stewed fruit. On the palate, the attack is greedy and lively, evolving towards a peaty woodiness that balances the sweetness of exotic fruits. The finish, long and generous, prolongs the pleasure with chocolatey and iodized accents and a rustic touch reminiscent of an agricultural rum with deep fermentation.
