Velier - Cuban Rum 1956 Hoy Como Ayer embodies the tumultuous history of Cuba, distilled in 1956, when the country was going through the Cuban Revolution. Selected by La Maison & Velier, this rum comes from a key period when Cuba, despite political instability, enjoyed economic prosperity, thanks in particular to the sugar industry and rum production. This rare single cask pays homage to this golden age and bears the name "Hoy Como Ayer", in reference to a work by Cuban artist Aconcha.
