History

Driven by Cuban know-how, Eminente has entrusted the Gran Reserva 10 years series to Maestro Ronero César Marti. The objective: to magnify the aguardientes (cane brandies) through precise ageing and blending, emblematic of Cuban rum. The first edition was based on ageing in oak barrels ; This cuvée extends the heritage by combining Cuban tradition and Bordeaux influence.

Product Overview

Gran Reserva Edition N°2 is distinguished by a high proportion of aged eaux-de-vie. After the main ageing, this 10-year-old Cuban rum is finished in Sauternes barrels, inherited from the great sweet wines, which brings depth and length. The blend brings together the best of Cuban cane brandies, for a spirit made for tasting pure or with a dash of water.

Tasting notes

At the glass, the finish reveals notes of honey, apricot and tropical fruits. A harmonious profile that can be enjoyed as an aperitif as well as a digestive.

Eminente de Cuba

Eminente is a new Cuban rum, made in the heart of an island that its inhabitants nickname "Isla del Cocodrilo", its unusual shape evoking that of its endemic crocodile. Imagined by César Martí, younger Maestro Ronero (Master Rum Maker), Eminente is a rich and structured rum drawing its inspiration from the Cuban cane eaux-de-vie of the nineteenth century, characterized by their aromatic complexity.
