The Ferroni - Brut de Fût Cuba Antilles Hispaniques 7 ans is an exceptional Cuban rum, made in the respect of Hispanic traditions. Made from molasses and distilled in columns, it has benefited from an atypical ageing: 5 years in American oak barrels, followed by refining in old Beaumes-de-Venise barrels, a sweet wine from the Vaucluse. These casks had previously contained a 2013 Australian rum, adding an extra dimension to its flavor profile.

This cask strength is distinguished by its double ageing, combining the woody and vanilla contribution of American oak with the fruity and floral richness of Beaumes-de-Venise. The influence of this sweet wine gives it gourmet and refined notes, enhancing the structure of Cuban rum.

Nose : miel, tabac, notes de sous-bois

Palate : une agréable amertume qui évoque certains miels (chataigner, arbousier). On y retrouve même des notes de Negroni, sous-bois, cèpes. Une belle finale avec une pointe d’amertume.
