A historical heritage revisited

Appearing in the eighteenth century in the British West Indies, Falernum is a liqueur traditionally composed of rum, spices and citrus fruits. The Ferroni house perpetuates this tradition with an artisanal recipe and meticulous ageing: after an initial maturation in cognac barrels, a maceration of spices precedes a second maturation of six months in small 60-litre barrels, optimising the contact between the wood and the liquid.

A rich and balanced aromatic profile

To the eye, Le Merveilleux Falernum has a golden colour. The nose is dominated by spices and orange zest, reminiscent of Christmas pastries. On the palate, orange takes over before gradually giving way to spices, with a slightly spicy touch that brings relief. The finish extends this sensory experience, where the spices assert themselves while the orange delicately fades away, leaving a long and bewitching aromatic persistence.
