In 2015, the Confrérie du Rhum launched the first batch of plot-by-plot white rum in partnership with the Longueteau Distillery. A well-kept secret since then was that this rum, distilled in 2014 and selected by Jerry Gitany and Benoît Bail, has been aged for more than 6 years.

Return from the tasting of the Confrérie du Rhum Fût 44 cuvée

This Single Cask (Cask 44) is therefore the old parcel (plot 11, blue cane) which has undergone 6 years of ageing in a French oak barrel at the distillery in Guadeloupe. The result is an old rum with an alcohol content of 48.6% and no less than 389 bottles of 70cl have been extracted from this barrel and bottled.
