Since 1887, the Bologne distillery has been located on a cane plantation that stretches from the slopes of the Soufriere volcano to the Caribbean Sea. The year 2014 marks the genesis of the 100% black cane saga, which our cellar masters have patiently aged. It is this selection of singular nature that marks the intimate link between the House Bologne and the history of the black cane.

Tasting of the Canne Noire 2014 decanter Les Exclusives

This cask strength has a coppery colour. The palate is the reflection of the olfaction. This vintage is characterful with notes of cocoa, walnut husk, and candied pineapple: all melted into a complex rancio.
