Heritage of the Uitvlugt distillery

Founded at the end of the eighteenthcentury on the banks of the Demerara River, the Uitvlugt distillery has left its mark on the history of Guyanese rum. Nationalised in 1979, then integrated into Demerara Distillers Ltd, it ceased its activity in 1999. It was famous for its varied equipment, including the famous Port Mourant wooden still , now housed at the Diamond Distillery.

A rare achievement signed Nobilis Rum

With this edition N°50, Nobilis Rum celebrates an important milestone in its journey as an independent Danish bottler. Distilled in 1992 from molasses and via a Pot Still, this rum has been aged for 32 years, reaching a degree of 56.4%. This long ageing gives the spirit a remarkable complexity and depth, faithful to the authenticity of its origin.
