Founded in the nineteenth century, the West India Rum Distillery (WIRD) is a historical pillar of rum production in Barbados. The distillery is particularly renowned for its column and iron stills, some of which date back more than a century. Owner of the Cockspur brand until 2017, WIRD was then bought by Maison Ferrand, marking a turning point in its history. The Nobilis Rum - Barbados WIRD 1986 N°3 comes from a single cask marked BBR. Distilled in 1986 and bottled after 34 years of ageing, this rum reveals the richness of its prolonged ageing in ideal conditions. With its complex and deep aromas, it is aimed at lovers of rare rums, in search of rich and intense flavors.
