A rare selection in the heart of Demerara's heritage

Bottled by Nobilis Rum on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the German Rum Fest 2026, this rum comes from the Enmore distillery, an essential reference in the world of spirits in Guyana. Produced from the legendary Versailles Single Wooden Pot Still under the MEC mark, it perpetuates a historic style that is particularly sought after by lovers of rums with character. Distilled in 1992 and then transferred to Europe, it has been fully aged in a 34-year continental barrel before being bottled at its natural strength of 56.6% vol. Only 230 bottles were produced.

A deep and complex expression

The nose reveals aromas of waxed mahogany wood, dark molasses, burnt sugar and old books, complemented by notes of dried figs, prunes, dates and black cherries. The palate, rich and oily, develops flavours of Demerara sugar, dark caramel, dried fruit, bitter chocolate, espresso and anise, enhanced by touches of cedar, nutmeg and cloves. True to the MEC style, the whole is supported by a characteristic mineral and slightly metallic dimension. The finish, particularly long, extends notes of dark chocolate, leather, dry oak, tobacco and dried fruit with remarkable depth.
