A fascinating history around the Versailles still
The Nobilis Rum - Guyana Enmore 1988 N°1 is produced from the iconic Versailles wooden still, moved to the Enmore distillery after Versailles closed in 1974. The still, made of Greenheart wood, is renowned for its rich and robust rums. Enmore, originally a sugar plantation, was converted into a distillery in the 19th century by Edward Henry Porter. The distillery closed in 1994, but this historic still continues to produce rums within the Diamond distillery.
A complex and rare rum
Aged for 32 years, this rum develops complex and deep aromas, with a strong woody influence thanks to its prolonged aging. Its production on the Versailles still and its limited bottling make it a must-have collector's item for rum enthusiasts.
