The Chapter 7 - Highland 2014 Single Malt 8 Year Old Rum Cask Finish is a true gem from one of the oldest distilleries on the Isle of Mull, known for its peated whiskies. This single malt was distilled in November 2014 and aged for 8 years, first in Bourbon hogshead casks, then for six months in rum casks, before being bottled in November 2023. With a peat content of 42 PPM and an alcohol content of 50.2%, this single cask is bottled cask strength, not cold filtered and without the addition of colouring. Limited to only 312 bottles, it comes with a stylish case.

This whisky is distinguished by its powerful and elegant nose, where peat and slightly iodized smoky notes mingle with spicy and exotic fruit aromas. On the palate, the attack is explosive with citrus, heather honey and iodine notes, evolving towards unctuous flavours of exotic fruits and spices. The silky finish is marked by malty flavors, caramelized, vanilla and spicy notes, finishing with candied fruit and caramelized mangoes.
