Origin and production
Distilled in 2009 in the county of Fife, the production of the Daftmill 15 Year Old remains confidential, faithful to the philosophy of the family distillery founded by Francis Cuthbert. This second 15-year-old edition was aged in 19 bourbon casks and a single Pedro Ximénez cask — a first for Daftmill, which had never used this type of cask before. Bottled in 56.3% cask strength, it retains all the authenticity and richness of the distillate.
Flavour profile
The nose reveals intense tropical notes and ample sweetness. The palate opens with aromas of candy sugar and malt characteristic of the house, before being enriched with a touch of sweet black fruits. The finish, deep and persistent, reveals the delicate influence of sherry. An ultra-limited edition, intended for lovers of exceptional single malts.

Daftmill is one of the 9 active distilleries in the Lowlands. The distillery was commissioned in 2005 but production did not really start until 2006.
