History and origin

Made on the island of Marie-Galante, a mecca for agricultural rum, this spirit comes from the Père Labat distillery, recognized for its ancestral know-how and the purity of its local sugar cane. Selected by Rum Nation, it illustrates the brand's desire to highlight the most authentic terroirs of the Caribbean.

Presentation of this exceptional rum

Distilled in 2017, this rum was first aged for five years in a tropical climate in ex-cognac barrels, before continuing its refinement for three years in Europe, including two years in oloroso sherry barrels. This double ageing gives the spirit an exceptional complexity, combining the liveliness of agricultural rum with the depth of European wood.

Tasting notes

Its aromatic palette combines the freshness of citrus and dried fruit with warm notes of wine, fine oak and delicate spices. The whole, vibrant and harmonious, captures the essence of the Marie-Galante terroir and the unique know-how of Père Labat.
