Controlled ageing in bourbon barrels

This rum signed Habitation Saint-Étienne (HSE) benefits from a careful refinement in American bourbon barrels, bringing a beautiful woody structure and greedy aromas. Its unique character is based on a balance between the power of the wood and the softness of the cane.

A complex and refined aromatic profile

On the nose, the intense woodiness evokes toasted walnuts, vanilla and honey, accompanied by spices and ripe exotic fruits. After aeration, fresh, minty notes appear, while the candied cane expresses itself with elegance. On the palate, the supple attack evolves towards a smoky and toasted woodiness, supported by grey pepper and touches of caramel. The persistent finish reveals aromas of dried fruit and vanilla, sublimated by the power of the wood.
