Mount Pelée in single cask

The Rhumerie J.M has been established since 1845 on the Fonds-Préville estate, in the north of Martinique, at the foot of the volcano. Its volcanic terroir, irrigated by the Roches and Macouba rivers, gives the cane a singular aromatic profile. Youth and intensity

After 3 years of tropical maturation in a single barrel, the rum is bottled at its natural strength, without reduction. This preserved youth highlights the liveliness of the terroir: there are notes of fresh cane, white flowers and citrus, supported by a delicate woodiness and a hint of spices. A vibrant snapshot of J.M. know-how, captured in a unique cask for lovers of authentic agricultural rum .

Located in the north of the island of Martinique and at the foot of Mount Pelée, the Rhumerie J.M distills and raises old J.M. rums. It was in 1914 that Jean-Marie Martin, who gave his name to JM rums, sold the property to Gustave Crassous de Médeuil.
