Here is the fourth opus of this great classic of the Trois Rivières range with a blend of the 2001, 2005 and 2011 vintages. All for an average age well over 12 years. 2005 and 2011 vintages matured in French oak barrels from Limousin complemented by ex-Cognac barrels, as well as a 2001 vintage aged in American ex Bourbon barrels.

Our tasting notes for Triple vintage 2001 - 2005 – 2011

Nose : onctueux et fin, il nous dévoile dans un premier temps des notes de pain d'épices, de beurre, de fruits en confiture, le tout relevé par des accentsde zeste d'agrumes. Après aération, les épices s'affirment.

Palate : Tout à la foi puissante, gourmande et parfaitement structurée, la bouche séduit par ses saveurs d’épices qui se déclinent subtilement sur des accents de fruits secs.

Finish : Un long final tonique riche en saveurs de pain d’épice, rehaussées d’une agréable signature minérale et poivrée typique aux rhums issus de ce noble terroir.

La Plantation Trois Rivières is more than 350 years of history! In 1660, Nicolas Fouquet, Louis XIV's Superintendent of Finance, won the largest concession ever granted to the West Indies: 2000 hectares located in the south of the island.
