The bottle is emblematic of the distillery, by its leather label, testifying to a long aging of the rum in barrels for 15 years, but also by its shape and the emblem of the distillery molded in the glass. A wax is delicately placed on the neck of the bottle, a sign of the authenticity of the Macoumba distillery. This 2004 vintage will delight your taste buds but also your eyes thanks to the precious wood box.

Our tasting notes for Vintage 2004 15 years Brut de barrel

Nose : Son nez est puissant, équilibré et rond sur les notes de pruneaux, de raisins secs, de figues séchées et d’amandes torréfiées. La chaleur de la fève de cacao enveloppe le tout dans une enivrante douceur et délicatesse.

Palate : Sa bouche est intense, chaleu reuse et enveloppante : une farandole de notes fruitées, tel un panier de fruits confits enrobés de chocolat noir intense. Elle dévoile une grande gourmandise et laisse rêveur dans sa dégustation.

Finish : La finale est d’une grande persistance sur les notes de fèves de cacao.

Rhum J.M

Located in the north of the island of Martinique and at the foot of Mount Pelée, the Rhumerie J.M distills and raises old J.M. rums. It was in 1914 that Jean-Marie Martin, who gave his name to JM rums, sold the property to Gustave Crassous de Médeuil.
