A treasure of the Le Galion distillery

The Le Galion distillery, located on the Atlantic coast of Martinique in the town of La Trinité, occupies a unique place in the island's rum landscape. It is the only distillery in Martinique to produce both agricultural rum (pure cane juice) and sugar rum (based on molasses), heir to a sugar tradition dating back to the seventeenth century.

A selection of independent bottlers

The Nectar, an independent bottler recognized for the quality of his selections, chose this 2021 vintage rum for its expressive character. The aromatic profile blends notes of fresh cane, ripe tropical fruits and sweet spices, with a full-bodied and generous texture on the palate. The finish offers a nice length with herbaceous and honeyed accents. A confidential bottling that highlights a Martinique terroir that is often unknown.

Since its inception in 2006, The Nectar has been dedicated to uncovering the finest spirits to present to connoisseurs and the general public. Initially focused on whiskies from all over the world, their passion for spirits gradually expanded to include drinks such as rum, armagnac, cognac, and more recently, calvados and grappa.
