They are then added to 40% white rum and infused for at least 1 month. Once infused, the rum is filtered, sweetened by the addition of cane sugar syrup and finally bottled.


This amazing rum is made from a blend as bold as it is surprising with the use of calamondin, evoking bitter orange mixed with the sweet flavor of vanilla. Tasty and to enjoy with ice cream or cocktail.

Formerly Rhumerie de Mascareignes, Le domaine de Labourdonnais was founded in 1771 and houses a castle, now converted into a museum. Located in Mapou this distillery uses fresh cane juice for the creation of these rums.
