The Emperor Deep Blue - Jubilee Finish is more than a rum, it's an underwater epic captured in a bottle. Aged 60 metres under the ocean near the island of Ushant, it has been rocked by the sea currents, in a silent, dark and constant temperature cellar. Emperor

This brand new rum brand was born from the imagination of two enthusiasts, Christophe Aulner, recently installed in Mauritius, and Bruno Le Merle, a local entrepreneur. Their idea? Offer rums assembled with eaux-de vie distilled from pure cane juice and molasses. And there is a certain logic to this project seeing the light of day in Mauritius. The island was first under French (1714-1810) and then English (1810-1968) before gaining independence (1968).
