A bold collaborative project

The result of the collaboration between the Reunionese distillery Savanna and Swell de Spirits, this unique cuvée embodies the most creative expression of local know-how. Designed with the expertise of Thierry Grondin and Johnny Landais, this rum is part of the Herrline range, dedicated to original creations based on the famous HERR, Savanna's emblematic High Esters rum. In 2023, Mika Barbaria, founder of Swell de Spirits, selected cask #215 to host this unique blend of Trad C20 rum and HERR.

Careful ageing

Distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2023, this rum has been aged for 8 years in ex-Cognac barrels. The maturation in a tropical climate and the richness of the esters offer a remarkable complexity. The result is a powerful, structured and singular rum, bottled in cask strength at 59.5°, and produced in only 733 copies.

Established in 2021, Swell de Spirits is an independent family-owned bottler based in France. Michael and Kelly's international background, passion for travel, and appreciation for a good drink created the vision that gave birth to the Swell de Spirits brand.
