Our tasting notes for Edition Anggur

Nose : Le nez est un parfait équilibre entre les notes épicées du rhum et celles fruités et boisées du vin.

Palate : En bouche là encore c’est le rhum que l’on reconnait d’abord avec ses arômes de fruits confits. Viennent ensuite les tanins élégants de ce très beau Saint-Emilion-Grand-Cru 2018, ces fruits rouges et noirs typiques du terroir.

Finish : Enfin, le rhum et le vin se retrouvent en fin de bouche où les notes épicées de l’un et de l’autre se marient harmonieusement et laissent au palais de gourmandes envies d’ailleurs.

Indonesia is an opening to the East but it is also a return to the sources: those of sugar cane first, from which it originates and which has been cultivated there for 80 centuries. But it is also those of rum - rum - ron - cachaça, called there Batavia Arrak - Batavia being the name given to Jakarta in 1619 by the Dutch East India Company, Arrak being the literal translation of alcohol.
