Through this series, Arran celebrates the incredible beauty and diversity of its island through a vintage retro travel theme. This collection will consist of several volumes; Each of them will explore a new facet of the island of Arran. ARRAN BRODICK BAY VOL.1 This 20-year-old edition has been aged in both bourbon and hogshead sherry casks, before being matured in the finest Oloroso (Butts) sherry casks from Bodegas de Jerez de la Frontera. This single malt offers us a rare complexity; where different aromatic layers gradually reveal all the facets of the island of Arran. Like this box, this first volume is a real sensory journey that takes us directly to the port of Brodick Bay, the gateway to the island.

Our tasting notes for

Nose : Crémeux et fruité, le nez s’ouvre sur des notes de toffee et d’agrumes frais.

Palate : A la fois douce et intense, la bouche dévoile successivement des notes de chocolat noir, de raisins pour une grande profondeur et une belle complexité. Un trait d’eau permet d’ouvrir sur des notes boisées et poivrées.

Finish : Longue et mémorable. Un verre très gourmand qui retranscrit tout le caractère fruité et délicat des Single Malts Arran.

Arran

Arran is the only whisky distillery located on the Isle of Arran in Scotland. Based in Lochranza, it was founded in 1995. Arran has a long history in the whisky world.
