Created by Fabio Rossi, the Rum Nation house selects emblematic rums from different terroirs to reveal all their uniqueness. This Venezuela 2010 comes from the SOFA Distillery, renowned for its know-how and its mastery of tropical aging, a guarantee of deep and concentrated aromas.
About this single cask
Distilled in 2010, this rum matured for thirteen years in Venezuela before continuing its refinement for two more years in Europe. Aged in ex-bourbon barrels, it has an alcohol content of 54.2% and expresses the richness of the wood and the tropical climate. This ageing combination offers a remarkable balance between power, roundness and elegance.
Tasting notes
On the nose and on the palate, it unfolds an intense bouquet of tropical fruits, candied citrus fruits and warm vanilla. The finish, soft and persistent, highlights the finesse of the oak and the maturity of the distillate. A rare rum, harmonious and full of character.
