Made from carefully selected rums, Papa's Pilar 24 Rye Finished Rum is matured in American white oak casks that have contained a high-toasting Rye Whiskey. This unique finish gives this rum a strong woody character and a singular aromatic intensity. With its 43% vol., it is aimed at lovers of spirits with a strong personality, anxious to discover an original expression of aged rum.
Tasting notes
The nose reveals deep aromas of oak, burnt sugar, dates and pastry spices. On the palate, the texture is warm, ample, and presents a greedy richness. The flavor profile revolves around wood, spice, dark chocolate and vanilla, with a subtle touch of coffee on the finish.
