An ironing still, distilled in 2011 at the Foursquare distillery in Barbados, this rum rested in Bourbon barrels until January 2020, until the arrival of our ship Tres Hombres with barrels of Porto, Madeira and Sherry Oloroso in Bridgetown. Six months of sailing through the Caribbean and the return to Amsterdam gave this excellent rum a distinct Tres Hombres finish.

Six months of sailing through the Caribbean and returning to Amsterdam gave this excellent rum a distinct Tres Hombres finish.
In 2020, we opted for an eight-year-old rum that looks much older than you might think when looking at it. At Foursquare, rum was transferred from Bourbon barrels to Porto, Madeira and Oloroso Sherry barrels and loaded onto Tres Hombres. This is a centuries-old tradition that we have been renewing for ten years.
Each bottle is richly decorated with motifs of Tres Hombres and their travels.

The design with the small handle is reminiscent of the old maritime times. Closed with a natural cap and sealed with beeswax. Each variety has its own color. To do this, the wax is mixed with color pigments that are ground from natural raw materials in a traditional windmill.

The rums TRES HOMBRES are transported from the Caribbean by the schooner of the same name, bottled in Amsterdam by the company Fairtransport of which les frères de la côte are representative in France.
