History of the Willett Distillery
Founded in 1936 by Thompson Willett in Bardstown, Kentucky, the Willett Distillery is an American bourbon institution. After several decades of interruption, it was reborn in 2012 thanks to the family of origin, faithful to the tradition and know-how of its beginnings.
Introducing single cask
This Willet - 8 Year Old 2016 Bourbon Single Barrel is the result of a typical blend of 72% corn, 13% rye and 15% malted barley. Aged for eight years in a single cask numbered #8633, it is distinguished by a remarkable intensity and aromatic concentration typical of the best single barrel bourbons. The 57% cask strength bottling offers a powerful and sincere expression of the American terroir.
Character and expression
This limited edition of 194 bottles celebrates the richness of corn and the precision of aging. The persistent aromas of the dry extracts of the glass testify to the depth and complexity of this exceptional bourbon.
