Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is uniquely aged. Indeed, this bourbon undergoes a second passage in deep toasted and lightly toasted new oak barrels, so as to bring out more the natural juices of the wood. This additional maturation gives the whiskey more character and roundness. The result of this singular process is a bourbon with notes of honey, chocolate, almond and spicy apple. Its unique flavor, twice as intense, also lies in the blending of the best grains as well as the quality of the white oak barrels.
