Made from a precise blend of rums from different Caribbean islands, The Duchess - Caribbean Premium Blend 12 years old is the result of a controlled aging of 12 years. Despite its blending nature, it is distinguished by a homogeneity and an integration of aromas of great elegance. Distillates with a high ester content provide a marked olfactory signature, evoking light petrol notes, characteristic of certain tropical profiles.
Tasting notes
The nose opens with exuberant aromas of ripe banana and mango, enhanced by touches of green olives and almond. On the palate, the texture is unctuous, almost buttery, prolonging the fruity impressions in a silky sensation reminiscent of a refined dairy dessert. The finish, moderately long, concludes with delicate notes of liquorice. A perfect harmony between aromatic intensity and sweetness on the palate.
