Templeton Rye Single Barrel 10 years
When prohibition banned the production and sale of alcohol in 1920, many residents of a small village of 350 people in Iowa decided to outlaw and produce a high-quality whiskey, under the name Templeton Rye.
Its growing popularity attracts connoisseurs and this whiskey is recognized as "The Good Stuff".
Distilled from 95% rye and 5% malted barley, it is aged to perfection in new burnt American oak barrels for a minimum of 10 years and bottled by barrel. Family-owned Templeton Rye produces, ages and bottles its own whiskies in its brand new distillery.
Templeton Distillery
Templeton, Iowa is a small town with a strong spirit, full of local stories and legends that come together to create a legacy of its own. In 2018, the distillery recommitted to our hometown with the opening of the new Templeton distillery and a goal to bring all production back to the distillery.
