Product Overview
The Papa Rouyo - Eritaj Single Cask 2025 is the third edition of a series celebrating Guadeloupean agricultural identity. True to the brand's philosophy, it is made from locally grown canes, using methods passed down from former planters. Distillation in an iron still, a demanding technique, reveals all the uniqueness of the terroir. This rum has been aged for 19 months in cognac barrels, giving it complexity and depth.
Tasting notes
This single cask seduces with its woody, spicy and pastry aromas, enriched with a touch of iodine and smoke. The finish, ample and persistent, reveals a fruity signature marked by banana and candied fruit, offering a subtle balance between character and finesse.
Papa Rouyo
The Papa Rouyo adventure is the result of the work of a collective of Moule planters in Guadeloupe who, eager to enhance their sugar cane, share the same passion for the transmission and traditional know-how of sugar cane cultivation.
